Project Manager

Long established (1984) leading WA civil engineering construction company requires the services of a highly competent Project Manager with primary experience and civil engineering qualifications pertaining to land development projects within WA.

As Project Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Leading operations through the project life cycle

  • Management of all contractual obligations

  • Program management and scheduling

  • Budget control

  • Claims and variations preparation and submission
  • Client, consultant, local authorities, public utilities, general public etc liaison
  • HSE and Quality management

  • Contracts management

  • Some estimating

  • Staff management and full team leadership

    To be considered for this role the following is required:

  • Hold a relevant Engineering degree or equivalent qualification

  • Minimum 10 years experience in Civil Construction

  • Minimum 5 years working in a Project Management role

  • Have a proven track record of successfully delivering civil projects

  • Be able to demonstrate skills in successfully delivering earthworks, sewer, water, drainage, road works, power, gas, comms elements etc. relating to WA land development projects

  • Proven record and understanding of HSE/QA compliance

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels

  • A background in project planning and organisation

  • Team building skills and impart strong leadership
